FEES & PAYMENTS

Conference Fees

Conference fees include all conference workshops and events (excluding optional consultations) on Saturday, May 4 and Sunday, May 5, 2019, including the apéro on Saturday and lunches on Saturday and Sunday.

Some optional activities have additional costs.

There are two payment options: PayPal or bank transfer.

Due to PayPal fees, a surcharge has been added to conference tuition for those who wish to pay this way.

To pay by bank transfer you must wire the COMPLETE amount in Swiss Francs (CHF) including any consultation fees, and covering any currency conversion and bank fees, within four days of your registration to the account indicated on your registration confirmation email. If you are sending funds from a country in the SEPA (Single Euro Payment Area), you may send your payment in Euros. When sending a SEPA payment, you must select “our” for the payment fees (to cover the fees on your side). Please use this calculator to determine the amount in Euros to send.

If the total amount has not been received within four days your registration AND reserved consultation are at risk of being canceled.

Early Bird Registration (Before March 1st at midnight CEST):

SCBWI Member Registration: CHF300 (PayPal users CHF315)
Non-member Registration: CHF350 (PayPal users CHF368)

 

Regular Registration (From March 1st on):

SCBWI Member Registration: CHF350 (PayPal users CHF368)
Non-member Registration: CHF400 (PayPal users CHF418)

 

Break-out workshops on Saturday and Sunday are first-come, first-serve. You need to preregister by ticking the appropriate boxes.

Note: There is no part-time registration for this conference. 

 

Consultations

These take place at the end of the day on Saturday and Sunday.

* Individual Manuscript or Portfolio Consultation SCBWI members: CHF50
* Individual Manuscript or Portfolio Consultation non-members: CHF65

There are a limited amount of consultations available for each faculty member. Only one consultation per conference attendee will be allowed.

You need to preregister and prepay by ticking the appropriate boxes on the registration form. 

 

Cancellation/Refund Policy

Cancellations are accepted in writing only via email.

Regular Registration refunds:

* Up to February 28, 2019: Full refund of the Early Bird Fee, including Consultation Fee, less a CHF50 Administrative Fee;

* March 1 – April 1, 2019: 50% of paid Early Bird or Conference Fee;

* April 2, 2019 and thereafter: No refund except in the case of a documented emergency or military deployment;

* No refunds under any circumstances for weather-related cancellations.
